Kollab Youth Testimonials
PILOT PROGRAM JULY – SEPTEMBER 2019
INITIAL FEEDBACK FROM STUDENTS
“I feel like you can take total advantage of the Kollab program because you will not experience this again. My greatest experience far out is going to the 27th floor in Los Angeles City Hall and looking at the different views of Los Angeles. It feels like it opened a couple of doors for me, as well as opening my eyes in what I want to become when I am a grown-up. I feel like this program will help me find what I want to major and have an amazing job that I will enjoy and continue to grow. I am glad that I got picked for Kollab because, this experience that I have had has opened my eyes so far. This will help me to become more open and out of my comfort zone.” Student Age 14 & 9th Grade
“The Kollab program was a bit confusing in the beginning because it was not straight forward but after having a couple of video chats with Gina from Thrively I feel like it is more clear. This program is getting me out of my comfort zone that is new to me but I like the feeling. I am amazed of all the job opportunities that are available. I am glad that I am in the Kollab program because this is helping me get connections in what I want to become which is a forensic scientist in the coroner’s office.” Student Age 17 & 12th Grade
